BillsaveUK Ltd is a new Leicester based business focusing on providing energy saving measures to homes. We need to find motivated, hard-working individuals who want to become an integral part of a new company.

We are looking for Installers to Install Cavity Wall and Loft insulation into domestic/commercial properties. We ideally require an immediate start in this role.

The main responsibilities of the role are:

Cavity Specific:

  • Drill holes to specified drill pattern (internally if new build property) and through mortar joints externally on existing occupied properties, working off ladders or other access equipment
  • Fill hopper (observing safety regulations) with compressed packs of mineral fibre
  • Blow’ shredded mineral fibre through hose and nozzle, into pre-drilled holes to achieve a full and complete fill of the cavity
  • Re-point drilled holes on exterior of property to match original mortar as closely as possible
  • To make sure work area is cleared, brick dust is cleaned off windowsills, pathways are swept and debris and packaging is removed from site and disposed of correctly, prior to the completion of all paperwork and before leaving site
  • To attend and pass ACOPs and CSCS training/tests as required, in order to carry-out the above duties

Loft Specific:

    • Load roof space with the required amount of insulation rolls in readiness to insulate loft
    • Access lofts with ladders and light provided by the company, first placing dust sheets and taking extra care not to cause unnecessary disturbance, debris or damage
    • Correctly fit loft insulation to the standard set by the company
    • Lag pipes and insulate loft hatch, tank, tank lid etc as required to the standard set by the company
    • Correctly fit draught proofing insulation material to all specified areas to the meet the relevant specification
  • Make sure work area is cleared (including any excess material) and debris and packaging is removed from site and disposed of correctly, prior to the completion of all paperwork and before leaving site

Applicable to Both Roles

  • Load insulation material on to company owned vehicle and to drive to and from various sites to carry out insulation works
  • Complete all relevant paperwork correctly and in a legible manner and return it to the Planning Team on a daily basis
  • Correctly install and complete tachographs (if in charge of a 7.5-ton vehicle) and hand them in on a weekly basis
  • Adhere to any reasonable work instructions given, either verbally or electronically by BillSaveUK nominated employees or agent
  • Flexible approach to working hours

  • Ensure that a professional and courteous approach is maintained at all time

Please be aware that this is a physical role requiring that you work outside in all weathers. Working at heights is also a fundamental aspect of the role, along with working within confined spaces.

Working Hours:


45 hours per week, working Monday to Friday with Occasional Saturday between the hours of 6.00 a.m. and 6 p.m., with 1hour unpaid break daily, however flexibility in working hours will be required. Please note that occasional weekend working may also be required.

Scaffolders - All levels

We currently require part 1’s 2’s and Advance Scaffolders to erect, adapt and dismantle scaffolds, also to work within the required scope BS EN 12811 and Work at Height Regulations, covered in TG20:13.

Areas required

 Requirements (as listed but limited to)

  • Current Scaffold CISRS – Tube and Fitting.
  • Full driving licence, with 7.5 category but not essential.
  • Experienced in erecting Independent scaffolds Birdcage scaffolds etc.
  • New Build site experience preferred, but not essential.
  • Carry out scaffolder duties and tasks competently and safely in accordance with training and skills as instructed and directed.
  • Must be conversant with all relevant standards, specifications, rules, regulations etc.
  • Keep all appropriate records and complete any necessary paperwork required.
  • Show a personal example of good safety practice.
  • Use and maintain the correct safety equipment and PPE at all times in accordance with training , manufacturer’s instructions and Company policy.
  • Observe & Comply with Company and Client Rules.
  • Willing to travel and if required work away from home.

Electrician – Leicester/National coverage

The Role:Installation & maintenance of electrical works to domestic, social & commercial properties.   Work involves technical application of electrical principles.

Main Duties / Responsibilities:


  • To install and maintain electrical works to the wiring regulations BS7671 & to manufactures specifications, on domestic, social & commercial properties.
  • To test, inspect and self-certify all installed works in line with BS7671 regulations.
  • To be proactive and problem solve problems that may arise on site.
  • To carry out all allocated electrical works within H&S guidelines.
  • Ability to read electrical circuit diagrams & detailed schematics.
