BillSaveUK sparks a new generation of services for housebuilders

6th June 2016

National energy saving specialist BillSaveUK has announced the roll out of a brand new electrical service to housebuilders this month.

Leading the way in energy efficiency for new build market, BillSaveUK’s network of electricians are able to meet not only first and second fix requirements, but are qualified to install a host of energy saving and renewable devices too.

Provision and installation of solar PV systems, the latest battery storage solutions, smart thermostats, LED lighting and voltage optimisers are just some of the products in BillSaveUK’s portfolio, in addition to the cavity wall and loft insulation services for which the company is traditionally known.

Bill Rumble, BillSaveUK director, said: “Our network of trained electricians has been installing solar PV systems for a number of years so as the market for electrical energy efficiency has grown, it’s been a natural progression for us to expand our service offering in this area.

“Installing solar PV systems and many of the other new electrical technologies which are now available does require additional training and qualifications. But through our partnerships with some of the UK’s leading product developers and manufacturers our teams have gained first hand knowledge, equipping them with the necessary skills to install a far wider range of electrical options.

“There may also be a few newer technologies in our portfolio which are unfamiliar to some housebuilders, but thanks to our national network it’s no trouble for us to take the time to introduce the latest innovations, explaining how they will benefit the new homeowner and how installation can slot seamlessly into an existing build programme.”

BillSaveUK operates from nine branches nationwide and has more planned for opening in 2016. The Company has developed first class health and safety systems, unique planning tools and quality management solutions to make it a reliable partner to have working on site – and already works with many of the UK’s largest housebuilders and utility providers.

All of BillSaveUK’s electricians are BS7671 17th edition qualified and the company is a member of NAPIT’s Competent Person Scheme, enabling self-certification of notification of completed work.
