Six months’ success for BillSaveUK16th May 2016
Following its management buyout of energy saving specialist Mark Group six months ago, BillSaveUK is well on the road to success and securing its position as the largest installer of new build insulation products in the UK.
Since it started trading in October 2015, BillSaveUK has recorded over 20,000 new insulation measures from the house building sector, equating to around 25% of the current new build market.
BillSaveUK says its success is partly down to the hard work, commitment and experience of its employees, but also thanks to the loyalty of the long term customers of Mark Group who’ve chosen to continue their relationship, following the management buy-out last autumn.
“Getting a new company off the ground is never easy so this is a time to briefly reflect on what we’ve achieved to date,” said Bill Rumble, BillSaveUK director.
The milestone falls at a time when the housebuilding industry is focusing on its half year results and looking for new opportunities and innovative ways to stay ahead of the competition. Rumble continued: “We’re building a business for the future and our focus is on continually investing in our staff, exploring new technologies with the UK’s best manufacturers and looking for opportunities to help our clients sharpen their competitive edge.
“And, although we’re pleased with what we’ve achieved so far, we want to wave our flag, make sure the industry knows we’re still here and building on the four decades of experience which Mark Group – formerly Mark Insulations – had established.”
BillSaveUK safeguarded over 200 jobs when Mark Group went into administration and since then, has increased its employee base to around 300. The company is headquartered in Leicester but has experienced teams operating from nine locations throughout the UK, installing cavity wall and loft insulation at new build sites. The business has also recently relocated its Leicester branch to bigger and better premises. It plans to open in three more locations in the coming months.
