To gain this accreditation the Cavity Wall System Designer must be satisfied that BillsaveUK is capable of installing their product competently and in accordance with the related Agrément Certificate. We are then assessed by the BBA on site prior to becoming an Approved Installer of Cavity Wall Insulation. Assessment and surveillance of our business is undertaken by the BBA to ensure that the products are being installed to specification. Each year the BBA will carry out an office audit and a series of visits to sites in progress based on 1% of the total the number of completed cavity wall installations by our business.
TrustMark was launched to the public in January 2006 as the Government backed quality scheme that signposts people to reputable local tradesmen. It is now a registered social enterprise, operated under licence from the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills. Our loft insulation and cavity wall insulation installation skills have been independently checked through on-site inspections to ensure a high quality of workmanship and trading practices. TrustMark is the only scheme that requires qualified inspectors to do these visits, so that our technical competence is checked as well as business practices and customer satisfaction. All TrustMark approved Scheme Operators and registered firms make a commitment to work to Government-endorsed standards.

This approval allows us to complete home insulation work for customers whose property has had a Green Deal assessment and subsequently has had finance for measures approved. As a Green Deal Installer we specialise in multiple energy efficiency improvement measures, including loft insulation and cavity wall insulation. A number of other government financial incentives require approved installers under this scheme, including the Energy Company Obligation (ECO) and various grants such as the Green Deal Home Improvement Fund. This certifies that we are competent in providing home insulation installation services and we have been independently assessed against the building regulations and the requirements of the Publicly Available Specification (PAS) 2030. In addition to being technically competent, we also need to have procedures and records in place to demonstrate that our installation processes, process management, service provision and claims of conformity comply with PAS 2030. We are also audited to ensure compliance to a rate of 1% of all installations.
